All thanks to Yes933 Hit awards, there was a sudden in flux of foreign stars (mainly from Taiwan) the last few days. Apart from S.H.E and MAY Day, the rest of the singers are mainly the new arising stars from 超级星光大道 series, including our very own 黄靖伦. And thanks to them for coming, I get to update my 'infamous collection' again.. :p Honestly, not because of the young lady in my team, don't think I would go the extent to ask them for a photo; I past the age somehow... hahaaaa ^_^
However, did experience some unhappiness when home grown artiste turned up for an interview at the radio station. This singer is well known for her super protective mom... Shall not mention names. I'm rather surprised that she did not oblige a moment for a photo. I mean, was it that much to ask for just that few seconds??? I really wondered if she would behave the same if she hasn't gotten her 金曲歌后 title.. The entire team with her appeared to be rather snobbished; thank god I'm not exactly a fan of hers..
Anyway, guess it was still a fun experience to take pics with the other singers, especially Lala a.k.a 徐佳莹... but she looked rather pale without the make up... and not forgetting 京爷， 张芸京。。winner of 超级偶像 Okay, she really looked less ladylike, but least she was really approachable. Guess this is a good attitude of a newcomer.

Music has always been a good source in relieving stress for me. No matter how stress and upset I get, a good song would get me back on my feet again. What exactly happens after marriage? Yes I am still single, and may not really what are truly the lives of marriage couples. As a bystander, it is certainly giving me lots of doubts and even creeps about two singles in love and decided to embark in the next journey. Simply too much uncertainties, negative happenings... etc... Then again, I maybe too sensitive, perhaps too affected by the things happening around me recently... there are still the happy husband & wife around...
Chance upon this interesting video by Mark Gungor, extracted from part of his seminar for 'Laugh your way to a better marriage'. This particular segment, 'Tale of Two Brains', I believe it's a good reference for both gender whether you are married or not. I had a good laugh... did you.... :)

Finally, it was the day of B.A.B's mini makeover photoshoot. Serene and I wanted a Glamorous look when we first signed up. However, nearer to the date, I told her let's do a Fun & Casual instead, and we din regret.. though we were indeed the most casual duo.. hhahaa

It had been a busy busy august for me. Friends' birthday celebration, friend came back from overseas for vocation, all the gatherings, ktv sessions, dinners etc... too many for me to really note all down. But most importantly, it was the month of my birthday too. Really thank all my present and ex staff, my friends for spending the time with me. I suppose it's the happiest time of the year for me.
Well all good things will come to an end, birthday over, friend left and back to his studies, life has to go back to norm again. I just hope things would turn for the better at work... keeping my fingers crossed..

Actually, I was very much affected too as I am supposed to have my lala and drinking session on friday to celebrate my birthday in advance... meaning chances of me getting alcohol overdosed... but with me working on saturday.. duh!!!! I was still bothered abt it and sent her an email, suggesting that if it's indeed so urgent, we shoud engage additional headcounts... after that, all I could do was to wait as it was already after office hours when I sent the email..
On thurs, while on my way to work, I was still thinking how to convince boss to forget abt the idea of getting the team back to office. As I was feeling lost, I prayed hard to 观音妈 and I know she heard me. :) True enough, when I was asked to go see boss abt the project, I told her not all staff are available over the weekend and it would be good for them to have a rest as they have been chionging for calls since the instructions came down. Was really determined to make it happen, and surprisingly, based on the usual her, she would've turned me down straight; somehow, she was rather composed and eventually agreed that we are not required to return over the weekend. hahaa
It was certainly a good news for all of us and I do think that the team appreciates this coz they have performed far beyond my expectations today.. as in thursday.. haha thank you all.... :)
And of coz, I am happy too!!! Happy that I'm going to have my lala session, I'm going to drink (oopss.. just for fun), I'm going to have a great time with my group of real spontaneous friends... and I'm celebrating my birthday!! And it's all happening tonite!!! Oooohh hoo!! .
okies... gotta zzzzzz now... 周公 calling me again....

Saturday, 1st August - 'Vain-pot' cum couch potato day
Had a super 'early' nite morning after the crazy nite out on friday, my date with 周公was delayed till about 5.30am.... awaken by Alvyn's sms to inform of his ward details and required my information to authorise me to visit him. Went to pick up the tickets for Sing Dollars from him; was shocked to see him lost so much weight despite I only saw him 3 weeks ago. Poor him, we were looking forward to watch the musical and had booked the tickets at least 2 months ago. He was so disappointed... :(
The rest of evening was vain pot nite for mua.. heehee... Did my manicure and pedicure; in order not to risk ruining the nice piece of work, decided not to go anywhere for the rest of the nite and 乖乖 stayed at home and watched my TVB series... Forensic Heros II and it kept me awake for the rest of the 8 hours... 周公again dated me the same time as previous nite :p
Sunday, 2nd August - Lalalaa day
1st lala... Watching the long anticipated Sing Dollars!!! It was a great show and unfortunately Alvyn could not make it eventually. Called HP instead and luckily he was free to take over the tix; and of course he did not regret watching the show. Great vocals by Emma Yong & Sebastian Tan, not forgetting the forever so entertaining Kumar & Hossan!!! I really enjoyed the show!
2nd lala... Lala session aka KTV lor!!! Was having coffee with HP after the musical and jokingly said I felt like going for lala session; and he said okay! :p It was my 4th time to the ktv within a week since last Saturday.. heeee :) I have been longing to sing since I lost my voice in May. I was not really able to sing properly during the last 3 visits, but did much better this time, surprisingly...
Was able to attempt some songs and great satisfaction after that. One of which was my 3rd Lala... aka 徐佳莹's 失落沙洲. Been listening to Lala's songs for awhile and finally got the chance to try last week but did not do well. Not today though.. hahaa.. let's hope it will sustain. ;p Looking forward to the next Lala session.

I was still telling myself I shall have 3 days to rest, but hey it's already Friday??!!! Somehow I din see myself enjoying much still. Perhaps I did not make full use of my time except for the marketing done on Thursday morning. Oh boy, have always been shopping at supermarkets, kinda lost touch. Thanks for dad who was with me and managed to get some good discounts from the 'brothers' he knew at market. ooh hoo.. Was able to get prawns and stingray at a good price!!! ooh hoo!
Yes, I'm getting the food for a BBQ tonite.. yeah. Okay, thanks to the company benefits, was able to ballot a chalet at a very good rate of $50 for 4 days 3 nites.. i think; will only know the charge in my next pay check coz it will be deducted directly from there. Hence, despite it's totally out of the way for me, I still decide to go ahead.. hahaha.. :) A good chance to break away from city life and catch up with my friends. I'm looking forward to that definitely, least someting to load my mind off the emo thoughts... :p
Ok ok, I have just finished marinating the chick wings, tmrw will be my pork chops; then my preparation for my sambal stingray, prawns, etc.. hahaa.. I am excited 的咯!! Better catch some sleep now.. there's still lots to do tomorrow morning!! >_<

This song 心墙 is in Claire 郭静's latest album but din expect it to be actually the same song that she had sung about 2 years ago. Back then, it was the 片尾曲 for 海豚湾之恋, now it's again a 片尾曲,but for 花樣男子流星花園.
Rather puzzled as to no one really brought up that it was already used 2 years ago? Anyway, there was a slight change in the arrangement between the two songs. I prefer the older version though not much variation compared to the latest, more emotional I feel. What about you?
Anyway, found this 60s MV teaser, finally there's an MV for this song... time to practise the new version, can't wait to sing this at KTV!!! But........... my voice has yet to recover todate.. Doctor Tan, any prescription pse... :(

This lady had gotten my attention after watching the musical 天冷就回来 last month。Nope, I'm not referring to 石欣卉，but 董姿彦 or Joanna Dong her Jazz fans call her. I really liked the way she interpreted the song 水的话 in the musical; kinda mysterious feel...
But hey, ever wondered how she was like 6 years ago....
If not for this clip, I wouldn't have remembered she was the one who had dressed like 32 though she was only 23 then. CORRECTION, don't think a 32 yr old lady would dress like that either these days.. :p
Well, 女大十八变。。。 though she did not beat Taufik Batisa in Singapore Idol 2004, she gained herself a role in the local musical 3 yrs later. Here's the MV they shot for 天冷就回来's first running in 2007. Din know 陈瑞彪 was part of the cast; always liked him.. :)
And One-Stroke, the other lady was the cast for 小静's role I suppose... Hmm.... I agree with what you said... :p
But overall, I think Joanna and George sang much better during their performance this time round...... :)
Here she gives another feel when she sings Jazz.... guess only those who are really into Jazz can appreciate... I'm not! :p

Came across an article at some corner of Wan Bao a few nights ago and saw the name 伍俊华, sounded familiar so was the photo. Took a 2nd glance at the photo and its Simon, my sec sch band instructor???!! Simon is now a singer, known as 最老的新人in the article. Saw the tv ad subsequently and he even appeared on saturday nite's variety show.. hmm... too bad din catch it. When I did a more detailed search on his new song, seemed that it was released in Mainland China last year already.. oooh.. impressive.. :)
Time flies, still remembered him as the young chap who taught us outdoor band formation. He was only 21 then and i was still in the lower sec..hahaa.. Suddenly the good old days came back once again.
Nevertheless, wishing him the best in his singing career.. not easy to start at his age.. then again, we only lived once!

Never regret going to JJ concert again this year though I am not really a fan of his. There were many touching moments during the concert, one of which would be getting JJ's entire family on stage and performed the number 醉赤壁.. it was rather heart warming. However, wat excited me most was the duet with Fan Fan. Yes yes.. this is the version of 小酒窝 which I really like... and I bet that would be the one and only time we get to hear unless, JJ gets Fan Fan to be his special guest in his subsequent concerts.. Oh my... still feel the goose pimples when I listen to this.. it's simply awesome!!! Sorry one stroke if I had over-reacted that nite.. :p

My sneezing is getting from bad to worse, and latest, conjunctivitis... and no... I did not peep at any guys okie.. ^_*
Not complaining about the cleanliness but I feel it's really the environment as nobody takes ownership of the office since it is a shared premise. Everyone is playing the blame game when problem arises. Haiz.. because of this, u can see a layer of dirt here and there.. and being a 'detector to dust', I will be the first to get hit. Sneezing non stop, sensitive eyes, and headaches as I am sitted near the server. Worse, now two servers!!!
Finally, decided to move my seat, occupying one of the agent workstations. Of course, the sneezing did not stop and grey hair did not reduce.. arghh.. Jay was saying "Boss, what happened to you... you din even have that much grey hair in TP" :p
Why just can't everyone just take good care of their own stations; I dun expect them to clean the entire call centre, but just their own will be a big milestone. Oh well, just hope they will not fall sick eventually.
Some friends may know that I have not been happy.. shall not elaborate too much as dunno who will be reading. But you know what I'm talking about.. Just trying to hang on as much as I could. Can't deny that there are improvements as compared to when I first joined, my only hope is that they will last, and everyone will have a common goal to work towards it regardless how tough the situation is.
Finally, can leave office already.. been working 6 days for the past 2 weeks straight.. be it physically or mentally... I AM DRAINED!!!

The week has passed so quickly yet fulfilling... yes I am talking about my work. It's the first time that I have this feeling after joining the organisation for 3 months. My team has finally shown some results. Though we are still far from our target of 30,000 live ads, we are starting somewhere nonetheless. And I am proud of the gals lor..... really from the bottom of my heart. Being an emotional person, I felt great sense of satisfaction despite only one of the gals hit the daily target given so far.... oh well, it was still a good start. I beleve the rest will catch up soon. :) Oh oh, I hope my dear DE gals will not feel left out coz without them, the TMs will not be able to focus in their calling as well. So every effort counts, you all are part of the team okay.... no one should be left out!
Well, being not a so vocal person, besides a simple thank you, treated them pizza lunch too. But as I told some of them, let's work towards dining outside, not just pizza yah!!
Okay okay, besides working hard, we are playing hard too. Every perm and contract staff in the work place are assigned to our respective houses based on the first character of our surnames. And the first three alphabets are under the Green house of Integrity. Having done so many Superstar shows for the public, the company decided to have one for ourselves... so there came our 'House Superstar'. There was this audition on Friday and I took the courage to step on the stage as well... hehee! Oh well, din think I did well coz as usual, I had stage phobia... but it was another one good attempt. Not sure of the results yet, but the chosen one will represent the house to compete with the other houses in 2 weeks time for the Superstar title; and the event will be held at the TV theatre.. wow, the pressure will be on then.. so think I should stop here.. hahaa.. :p
Well treasure the remaining of my weekend and come Monday, it's battle time again!!!!

Oh well, CNY was good, did all the visitings and gatherings... went to grandma's place again finally.. after a number of years.. complicated story.. still, grandma was thrilled to see my bro and I appearing on the first day of CNY. :)
Also, finally did the performance at Clara and Yong Soon's wedding with WC.. hahaa.. we made all the mistakes u could think of, then again... it was fun and I'm sure it would be better if we do it the next time.. with a bit more of practise of coz.. so WC, pse be kind enough to rehearse with me more often ya.. kkekee :p Video is uploaded at my FB... :p
Just attended the orientation program at my work place.... yes after 3 mths of joining... it was okay.. knew a few more new colleagues.. but somehow I don't think we can get really close as all would have formed our own cliques since we are already there for 3 mths or even more.
Okay, this entry is not going to be too long as today is Valentine's Day.. hheee.. yeah, how can I be at home right.. oopss. Running late, better get going..
